Goof value local hotel that seems to cater to domestic tourists, lacks the polish of the bigger international brands. Big rooms with good views.
Location is near the airport but a distance away from everything else.
Service could be better, while the room was cleaned everyday, the ice buckets from the last few days were not, as well as the rubbish on the balcony table.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
The last road reaching the Suites is quite narrow and congested even before the last traffic light. The parking climb is also narrow, must be real careful as the wall is full of vehicle scratches. The hotel’s staff are all really good. TnG swiped parking can be cancelled at the lobby every time before you go out. Generous TV channels if you plan to get real lazy in the room. A small sized pool complete with a filtering system inside the suites, next to a cozy coffee table and two chairs, with partial sea view for some units, guarded with thick glasses which I wish was as clear as new. A steam room is also available, except the control panel is a bit confusing at first. There are two king beds with many pillows and a pair of comfy benches, perfect setup for movies. Food riders usually drop orders at the outside of the lobby, either the front or rear side. There is also a gym, kids world and a general pool and on level 8. Some other facilities are restricted. Breakfast at 6.30-10.30, additional adults costs rm65/head, kids between 7-12 costs rm35. Below 7 is free.
Okay, the room is very good. I liked private swimming pool.
The breakfast is not that good and the service is not that clean it needs more cleaning I might recommend this to my friends because of this private swimming pool but whenever i ask for a pool cleaning they do not clean it that well there will still be bugs inside
The location is terrible. It’s far away from Georgetown where you can find everything in there. We booked dinner at 9 pm. We ordered a grab taxi at 8 pm taxi accept us at 8:45 pm. We arrived there at 10:10 pm because of the long road and traffic. It is near Chinese New Year.
Our recent stay at Lexis Suites Penang was overall a pleasant experience. The room comfort and cleanliness were good. Although we faced a minor issue with Charlie bug infestation, a quick call to room service brought an efficient solution right to our door. Their response was prompt and effective.
The staff hospitality was truly amazing—everyone was always smiling, helpful, and informative, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The morning breakfast was decent with a good range of choices, though there’s room for improvement in terms of taste, especially since the hotel is located in Penang, known for its incredible food scene. That said, they were very thoughtful for toddlers and kids, providing a special corner with mini fluffy pancakes and French toast bread. The service at Sky Bar was also commendable. The bartender was friendly and well-mannered, and the view from the bar was absolutely spectacular.
The facilities and amenities, including the pool, spa, gym, and games room, were all in great condition. The staff at the games areas were friendly, always ready to assist or even play along with the kids, which added a nice touch.
In terms of value for money, the experience was definitely worth the price we paid. The hotel offered good value considering the overall experience and services. We also noticed the staff proudly wearing T-shirts that highlighted the awards the hotel has won. If they continue maintaining this standard and fine-tuning certain areas, I’m confident they’ll achieve even more accolades in the near future. We’re already making plans to revisit soon.
