Feel very peaceful when you make your way up here. Very clean. There are couple of temples within the compund. A must visit if you happen to be in Penang
It’s a lovely temple with a calm atmosphere. The evening view of the temple is beautiful. Bring along a water bottle as there are many steps, but it’s worth the visit.
513 steps to the temple. Was very serene up in the hill temple. There were monkeys on the way up but didn’t disturb so just ignore the monkeys
500 plus steps to the top. Great view there. Not that difficult to complete the walk up.
Somehow Thaipusam and fulfilling vows just better here making the travel from KL worth it. Better managed overall, devotees are generally orderly with little rubbish thrown as they please comparatively less than in Bt Caves. The annadhanam(food donation) is well done, feeding thousands, don’t think any does it better on this scale.
