The view from the room was beautiful and breathtaking, the service was beyond amazing the staff were very friendly and helpful and more than they always went above and beyond to make the stay that more comfortable and special.
Food was superb, breakfast options for the buffet were excellent, the coffee was excellent if I might add (5/5).
The room was extremely clean and spacious.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience. I had the pleasure of hosting my company event at Angsana on 8 January 2025. I must say, the entire event was exceptionally well-organized, thanks to the support of Farris and the banquet team. From the early stages of planning through to the event day itself, the level of professionalism and attention to detail provided by Farris was outstanding.

Before the event, Farris went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up perfectly and that all our questions were answered. He was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the process, making sure everything was on track and that no detail was overlooked. His proactive approach really helped set the tone for a seamless experience.

On the day of the event, Farris, along with the banquet team, were absolutely fantastic. They were constantly present and made themselves available whenever we needed anything, which was incredibly reassuring. Their quick responses to any queries and the overall smooth execution of the event were testament to their dedication and expertise. It’s clear that they are not only professional but genuinely care about delivering a great experience for everyone involved.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. We enjoyed dining at both Jendala and No.11—each meal was delicious, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

One area for improvement would be the in-room dining; while convenient, the food could be enhanced to match the high standards set by the hotel’s restaurants.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family vacations, especially for those with kids. It’s a fantastic getaway spot where everyone can relax and have a great time!

4. Feb. 2025. Just checked in: off to a poor start. I may change my review depending on additional experiences.

The setting, views and facilities seem quite lovely. Service on the other hand, disappointing.

Specifically:

1. Arriving early we’d hoped they might accommodate us, but said we’d have to wait for the room to be prepared. Fair enough. We were sent to the pool area to await the call from the front desk. After 3 hours, still no call. It was now past the 3 pm check in time. I went to the front desk and received my key. I noted that there was no special welcome for me guests which I’ve experienced at other high end resorts.

2. While waiting by the pool, my wife ordered lunch which included fried hollow shrimp heads. We found that puzzling. My wife bit into one and found it inedible. We asked if this was a customary food. After a long time the waiter returned to explain that the shrimp must have fallen out of the shell. No explanation as to why they plated the hollow heads.

3. Getting to the room, my wife opens the covers of the bed to find a large stain in the bedsheet. It wasn’t fresh, but still gross.

I spent 30 years in the hospitality business. I expected better here given the positive reviews.

6. Feb. Update. I’ve upgraded my review to 4 stars. After discussion with Housekeeping, the bedsheet was changed. We also found the other staff friendly and helpful. As noted in another review, road noise is an issue but bearable with earplugs. Mattress is oddly very comfortable! It feels like a deflated air mattress but sleeps very comfortably.
