Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with tidy linens that made for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful, responding promptly to each request.

However, the shuttle service was a major letdown. Operating every two hours with a maximum capacity of only 9 seats, it was insufficient for our group of 13. Despite special requests, the hotel was unable to provide additional shuttle trips, leaving us to rely on Grab or car-sharing services, which were quite unreliable in Melaka. Furthermore, securing a shuttle booking was highly competitive, requiring at least a day’s advance reservation. As a result, we could only book one trip during our stay.

Breakfast offered a great variety of options, but the experience was less enjoyable due to a hot and overcrowded restaurant. The space was jam-packed, food refills were slow, and the coffee machine was out of order, which added to the inconvenience.

Overall, despite these setbacks, I would consider returning because of the hotel’s value for money and reasonable distance to the heritage center. However, significant improvements to the shuttle service and breakfast management are needed to enhance the guest experience.

Amazing location with spectacular ocean views. Melaka tower, river cruise, Dutch Square, Museum, Jonker Walk are 10-15min walk from the hotel. It’s so conveniently located and you don’t really need the hotel shuttle service. Just take the underpass towards the middle of the flyover and cross. The footpath is clean and it’s safe.
The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel has something for everyone. From a pool table, to club lounge, to family rooms, swimming pool, spa and more. Definitely recommend it.

We stayed for two nights with my family. The hotel is very well located, with both straits view and walking distance from sightseeing locations and malls. The pool has two ping pong tables and a fusball, so it is easy to keep the children entertained after a day around town! The staff of the hotel is very helpful and the beds are really comfy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit more of the town!

Rooms are clean though dated. Sound proofing could be improved as neighbours room doors closing can be heard.
For families requiring 2 rooms, it’s hard to get connecting rooms. This is even though I requested a week before.
Service is standard, not exceptional.
On the higher floors you get the sea view which is brilliant in the morning.
