Stayed overnight to catch an early flight out. Impressive hotel, fantastic welcome, cozy atmosphere and great vibe. Hospitality staff are excellent.

Rooms are ultra cozy, modern, and clean. Lots of attention to the smallest details. It feels minimal yet has so much to offer. Fantastic design and feel.

The Senses lounge on 13th floor is a great place to unwind and watch the sunset overlooking the cityscape.

Can’t comment on the breakfast buffet because we left early. We asked the staff to pack a small bag with breads & pastries.

Used the hotel’s limo instead of a grab to the airport for a nice sending off. Georgetown has been amazing!

Was here for a function, the environment was superb with a great view of almost the whole of the north eastern side of the island from the rooftop bar & swimming pool.
The staff is, albeit new as they’ve just opened recently, attended to all the basic needs professionally.
The lobby is spacious with plenty of tables for discussion & chilling time.

Our stay at the newly refurbished Iconic Marjorie Marriott Bonvoy has been nothing short of amazing. 🌟 The hotel is extremely new, having undergone refurbishment just two months ago.

We stayed here for a week, and every moment was a delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always greeting us with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to provide the best experience. I wanted to name a few exceptional staff members, but honestly, there were too many! From the breakfast dining experience to the poolside, housekeeping, and checkout, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. 🥰

🏬 Hotel Design & Amenities
I truly enjoyed my stay here because of the thoughtfully designed interiors and amenities. The hotel takes great pride in its Penang Peranakan heritage, which is evident in everything from the staff uniforms to the decor.

🥞 A special mention goes to the breakfast buffet—one of the best I’ve had in Malaysia! The variety was impressive, featuring a hydroponic salad bar, a cheese platter, an omelette station, a noodle station, and multiple fresh juice stations.

The highlight? Their live cooking station, where I indulged in chapati, scrambled eggs, and the iconic Penang Char Kway Teow, cooked with incredible wok-hei. I ate it so often that I think the chef recognized me, and we greeted each other every morning! 😂 I would like to say it’s nicer than some of the hawkers we tried too 🌝

👙The level 13 poolside features a long infinity pool—perfect for laps—with a jacuzzi offering stunning views of Penang.

The steam rooms and shower facilities in the gendered bathrooms were a great touch. Right next to the pool, the bar had an attractive cocktail menu, ambient music, and a beautiful herb garden where guests can see and touch local Penang spices.

💪🏻 The 24-hour gym was impressively well-equipped, with ice-cold water and fresh towels available. The brand-new facilities were another highlight of my stay.

🛏️ Our Room
Our king-sized bed came with four pillows, and there was even a pillow menu to customize our sleeping experience. The laundry service was quick, returning our clothes within a day when submitted by 11 AM.

The room decor had a modern Peranakan vibe, blending tradition with contemporary elegance. The bathroom amenities included shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap, all with tropical floral and fruity scents. The hairdryer was stylish and powerful, while the toothbrush and vanity kits were made from eco-friendly materials, designed for multiple uses.

The only downside was the soundproofing in the room, which we believe will be resolved once the final refurbishment touches are completed.

Overall, I truly hope this hotel thrives. With time, I believe more guests will fall in love with it just as much as we did. It’s now an iconic spot for us in Penang, and we can’t wait to return! 👍🏻

Had a great dining experience at Tiffin, and I would like to give a special shoutout to Firdaus for his outstanding service! During my previous visit, he went above and beyond to assist my team, capturing wonderful group photos and ensuring we had a memorable time. His friendly and energetic attitude truly made a difference, and it’s great to see such dedication and professionalism.

Also, the pandan coconut drink was absolutely refreshing and tasted amazing! Definitely a must-try.

Brand new hotel in the area. Closer to the bridge than the hotels in Penang, if you are commuting to the mainland. The rooms are clean, well maintained. The infinity pool has an overlook of the city and the gym has all the upgraded equipment. The morning breakfast options are the best in town. Outside the hotel, there are limited food options in the neighborhood. But the mall is only a 5x minute drive. Perfect place to stay and relax
