  1. Had the family room and it came with a king and queen size bed. Both were out of view from each other but there will be no privacy as there is no doors between the beds. Only 1 mirror and 2 outlets. No swimming pool and only given 1 room card. Didn’t ask for more. For a place to rest it is very nice. If looking for a place to do in the hotel, Go to another hotel. It is within walking distance to the river your and historical hill.

  2. This hotel most have been very good 10 years later. But the poor investments in the infrastructure make it not looking nice. They say on the website that they have a gym => it’s not true. The gym is close and I doubt they are planning to open it one day…

The more I stay, I discover that the water bowler is not working… even the coffee cup is leaking. I really don’t know what they do with the money but they should think of investing in the basic facilities…

  3. It was my first time staying here, just for a night, in a Junior Suite. The room was reasonably sized, with all amenities in working order, though signs of it being an older hotel were evident. The TV only had local channels, likely assuming you’re in Malacca to explore rather than watch TV.

I tried the food but found it passable at best, so I’d recommend exploring other options. Thankfully, there are plenty of eateries, a mall, and a night market nearby.

Given its central location, the price was reasonable. The check-out process was the fastest I’ve ever experienced! Overall, a recommended stay!

  4. I have a pleasant stay at this hotel. All the staff are attentive. Food during breakfast kinda feel like at foodcourt buffet with many stalls. Walking distance to all famous attractions. Free parking for hotel guests.

  5. For the price you are paying, you get:

    1. Walk out of the lift to be greeted by open space outdoor walkway like a flat apartment, reminds me of Singapore old HDB flat.

    2. Room with extremely poor sound proof, i can literally hear someone shouting upstairs or dropping something.

    3. My mobile data internet speed is 3x faster than room wifi. I have to connect the room TV box to my hotspot to watch YouTube

    4. Cheap furniture and renovation quality, the bed is so uncomfortable, I couldn’t sleep the whole night

    5. travel distance of 1km away from Hotel via vehicles required 30min – 45min. Traffic jam worst than KL. Horrible location

    6. You only get 2 towels, nothing else. No hand towels no floor towels

    7. Body shampoo diluted, have to run to nearest 7-11 to buy a proper body shampoo

    highly NOT recommended
