Clean room, comfortable bed and excellent location to the tourist attractions. You get complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water. A kettle, hair dryer, tissues and spare toiletries (shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor) are also provided.

The lobby is equipped with conveniences. There are a couple of tables with chairs for quick dining, as well as some seating if you need to wait around for a short while. The little kitchenette area near the toilet has a microwave and a water dispenser.

Staff was helpful and polite. You can store your luggage with them.

However, there were a couple of notable downsides that affected our comfort. The air-con in our double room faced the beds and would blow quite strongly on one person. We were able to adjust the air-con settings to a more manageable level, but this meant that we couldn’t have the room too cool. It was at least still an adequate temperature for sleeping. Furthermore, the walls were really thin, so we were disturbed by a noisy family and their child at 1AM next door.

Some other minor issues included the water escaping from the shower and making the floor and towel wet; and the lack of natural light from the windows, which faced a wall decorated with fake foliage.

Regardless, JonkeRED Heritage Hotel sufficed for our short stay. Just be considerate and mindful of your own noise levels because even phone notifications and the sound of plugging in your devices to the outlets can be heard through the walls.

First impressions, staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Checking on you to see if everything is alright with your room. Rooms were clean and comfortable with the basic amenities all provided. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a laundry bag provided. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to the river and Jonker Street, there is also a 7-eleven located right below the hotel. The main street, however, is busy and is the main hub where all the tri-shores gather and come through, so as expected it was incredibly noisy with the loud music, often lasting past 1am+. The hotel has taken note of this and provided you with earplugs. Great effort!

Room is too small for Queen deluxe, the bathroom is bigger than the room, we had booked a room that looked different online.
Edited: we were able to get a different room once we showed the room pictures we booked, much better space wise.
The only other issue was the A/C blowing on us in bed, made us sick as well.
The staff are super friendly and location is great

Very helpful staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms, showers have a great pressure, and the hotel is super central, close to everything.

Everything was so conveniently located to the tourist strip. Loved the elevator as we had luggage. Friendly staff and well-appointed necessary amenities. Heritage hotels have their limitations and its not the kind of place you go to for a view. Quiet. Clean. Friendly. And walking distance to everything.
