Superb location, excellent room and impeccable service! So conveniently located opposite Pavilion Mall and surrounded by many other shopping malls and food options. Rooms are luxurious and I love the attention to details especially the dresser and chair in the bathroom corner. Great check-in experience, staff did their best to accommodate connecting rooms for us. Service was good too at the club lounge, staff were friendly and helpful. Sorry that I only managed to get Habib’s name. Wine options were good but food could be better. I’ve had better food options at other JW Marriott club lounges. Highly recommended to those travelling to KL.

This is a hotel that I stayed at the last point of my Asian tour and definitely deserves 5 stars. The architecture and design of the hotel is really enjoyable. I stayed in the executive guest room if I remember correctly. It was very spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. The breakfast is generally like the 5-star hotels in Asia, there are European breakfasts but don’t set your expectations too high. You are very far away to see 10 types of cheese in the open buffet 🙂 The sparkle of the street when you leave the hotel is like a movie set. It has a fascinating atmosphere. The location is good but, as everywhere, there is a price for this and that is the traffic 🙂 However, it is not a situation worth bothering. However, the most important detail that shows their hospitality is different for me; After checking out from the hotel on the last day, we wanted to leave our luggage and do some shopping since our flight was in the evening. When we went back to the hotel to pick up our luggage to go to the airport, they told us that we could use the hotel’s spa if we wanted to change our clothes or take a shower before going to the airport. I couldn’t refuse this nice offer and thankfully they took care of us until we left. When I go to Kuala Lumpur again, I will make a reservation at this hotel without looking at any other hotel. Thank you for your attention, delicious food and good service.

Excellent hotel for convenience, facilities and services. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s located in the center of town. It has a well equipped gym that I used a copy of times a day. Service is immaculate. Even though the hotel doesn’t have English newspaper, they provided it when I requested for it. I’m sure one of the staff must have purchased it from the 7-11. I’m so grateful. 🙏🏻

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable; no complaints about it. The location was very strategic, and parking at B4 (hotel guest parking) wasn’t an issue for me. The parking payment still uses cash, and I stayed for five nights with parking costing only RM10. Check-in was smooth, and the room was ready as early as 11am.

The Wi-Fi connection, however, was weak and kept dropping. While this might be a nuisance for some, it didn’t bother me much since I used my mobile data. The pool area could be enhanced with livelier bars, offering a better place to sit and relax. Additionally, the bar didn’t allow charges to be sent to the room, which felt inconvenient. Certain aspects of the hotel could benefit from adopting more modern transaction payment methods.

Overall, I was satisfied with the room, service, and my stay.

My stay at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur was overall fantastic, and I’m happy to give it 5 stars. The hotel has a more refined, higher-end feel compared to Hotel Stripes, making it a great choice for a luxury experience. However, here are a few thoughts from my stay:

The Positives:
– Suite Upgrade: We were upgraded to a suite, which was a nice touch. While the décor felt a bit outdated, the room was spacious and comfortable.
– Location: The hotel is situated in an excellent area, perfect for walking, people-watching, and exploring nearby malls. The energy of the city really comes alive here, although the roads can get quite busy on weekends.
– Breakfast Options: Guests with executive lounge privileges can choose between the downstairs restaurant and the lounge for breakfast. The restaurant has a huge selection, but it gets very busy after 9 AM. We preferred the lounge—it’s quieter, with a smaller but satisfying selection, including a chef making fresh eggs. It felt more relaxed and personal, which we really appreciated.
– Executive Lounge Roast Duck: The lounge itself is a bit dark and lacks windows, but the staff are very friendly, and we enjoyed the roast duck during our visit.

Room for Improvement:
– Outdated Technology: The TVs in the suite were a disappointment. The bedroom TV only worked for local channels, and neither TV allowed us to use a Fire Stick. While the living room TV came with a Chromecast, the bedroom did not, and our request for one was never fulfilled, with no explanation given. This meant rearranging furniture just to watch a movie, which was inconvenient.
– Executive Lounge Atmosphere: While the staff were great, the lounge could benefit from more natural light and a wider food selection. Compared to other JW Marriott properties, it felt a bit limited.

Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was excellent. The staff were warm and attentive, the location is ideal, and the upgrade to a suite added to the luxury feel. I’d recommend this hotel, especially for its central location and quieter executive lounge breakfast option!
