1. A differently styled resort hotel with vibrant colors which are nice for photo taking.
2. Nicely located by the seaside, recommended to book a room with sea view.
3. Rooms are with many wooden furnishings which requires proper maintaining. They’re dusty and might cause allergic reactions.
4. Small pools and no additional facilities for recreation. When it’s high tide you don’t get to enjoy the beach at all so better check the high tide calendar if you’re looking to enjoying the beach.
5. Room bookings don’t come with breakfast but there’s a cafe inside the resort which offers hotel guests with 20% discount on food orders. The cafe offers limited food choices on their menu.
6. Lots and lots of artificial plants, flowers and even the mango tree fruits are so plastic.
If you don’t want to feel things, I don’t suggest coming here, but if you care about your soul, I wouldn’t miss it… It’s magical 🦄
Every – single – square – inch of this property is thought of.
The energy is palpable ~ would find it hard to believe if you could find a better resort in the area!
Service = 100%
Upgraded me to the room called Maya and it is PERFECT! Like being in the water!!
I have never felt that I need to stay somewhere for a minute until I settled into this property…only planned on one night, but surely extending now
So grateful 🙏
Also, it is worth checking out their website for their beautiful story ~ the inclusivity is heartwarming and you can feel the love as soon as you drive down their beautiful driveway
I cannot say enough good things about this place! I have stayed here twice now and have had excellent experiences. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the property is beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. It’s such a peaceful place to stay and close to the beach. I really like that it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of George Town but close enough to access. Whenever I come to Penang, there is nowhere else I’d rather stay!
We are so disappointed with the services. No more next time!!
Why we choose this resort?
My friend wanted to propose with her girl friend, and someone recommeded this resort for us, but end up with not that perfect.
At first when we checked in, it was okay that they not able to trace the booking, but why they showed us their impatience?! If you dont like to serve others please dont involve yourself in services line (I got some info that she was new staff) . After that, we asked whether can move some furniture because we need to do decoration, then they said no problem if you all moved back after that, so we only started to move some furniture. Before that, we also informed that we got around 15ppl come, they also said no problem but half way a woman (mentioned she is the manager of this resort) came to our room with some negative emotions, she started to blame us that moving their furniture without their permission, at that time I was outside, I told her that we got permission from your staff in proper way, but she replied me in a very harsh way and said we were impolite. I was shocked, so what means impolite?! Then we said we will clean it before leave this room, please provide us the broom and some cleaning tools. But they still keep on saying that we didnt get their permission……The manager also kept mention our price so cheap ald, and the place is so nice, so what you want to day?!
I am in service line as well, I know it is not easy to serve others, but before you involve yourself please consider it carefully.
Lastly, cleanliness is not clean enough…
I stayed at Lost Paradise Resort for 2 nights recently, and while there were some highlights, the overall experience didn’t live up to my expectations, especially given the price.
Positives:
• The scenery is fantastic, with a beautiful sea front view. This was definitely the highlight of the stay.
• The pool was nice, although a bit small for the number of guests.
• The room was spacious, which I appreciated.
Areas for Improvement:
• The room itself was quite disappointing. It had an unpleasant smell, and the interior was old and outdated. The bathtub was dirty, which made it hard to relax.
• Parking was a hassle. It’s very limited and far from the room we were assigned, which was inconvenient.
• The food was expensive, and the portions were small. It didn’t feel like good value for money.
• For the price, I was expecting a much better overall experience, but I left feeling disappointed.
