Fine hotel. The staff kept our bags for a few hours before and after check in which was very helpful for us. All basic amenities like slipper, iron, blow dryer, toiletries were there in the room. They also had water cooler. The check in was smooth. They didn’t ask for a security deposit which also felt very nice. However, charge for early check in was something that bothered me. And the charge was also high (60). If the room is free, i think you should give it to the customer.

Though the room isn’t perfect, it’s fairly decent for the price you pay for, which is 3-4 times less than a 4 or 5 stars hotel within the vicinity. The room is fairly clean and simple, and their staffs are polite and helpful.

It’s also the cheapest within the area, and the monorail is within a short walking distance.

I want to express my gratitude to the security guard whom I don’t know the name of, for helping me reach my room sooner after a tired day, when the lobby is filled with a huge batch of new guests blocking the lifts.

P.S. I’ve seen some of the complaints before booking, and honestly I think you guys should just fork out RM 300-400 a night at Sheraton if you want to be treated like kings. If you can’t, and you just need a simple, cheap and clean place to rest for your vacation, this place is perfect.

A decent basic budget hotel, but they don’t have proper room service for food, so food orders after 10 pm is not possible. Also a limited food menu for room service. Rest, the hotel staff was good, polite, but most of them don’t understand English, so you need to take the help of Google translator. The location is very convenient.

If you want to go to Kuala Lumpur city without a vehicle then this hotel is very suitable because it is close to Sogo and the Medan Tuanku monorail. To come here from Klia/Klia2 take the ERL directly to KL Sentral and from there take the monorail down to Medan Tuanku station. Only for those who drive it is a little difficult because the hotel parking is limited. But there is paid parking around the hotel area. The room is spacious and comfortable. Don’t forget to take the 8th or 9th floor to see the surrounding views. The price is worth it. Nearby eateries such as Nasi Kandar Saddam and Roti Nan RSMY are also close.

Prescott Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a modern yet comfortable hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur. It is located at Medan Tuanku area of Kuala Lumpur. Prescott Hotel KL has been renovated with latest room amenities. It has restaurant on the ground floor. The restaurant serves daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as room service for guests by order.

The room itself was newly renovated. The room was spacious. The room has complete amenities. In room WiFi speed was good. There was television set, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facities, safety box, iron and ironing board, drinking refillable water, slippers, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, shower cap), hairdryer. Room rate was reasonable. With the paid room rate and the inroom facilities, it was a worthed stay at Prescott Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Overall, it was a wonderful stay at this hotel.

Check in process was speedy. The crew members offered warm and helpful service. The reception team even offered us a connecting room when she knew that I came with my family members. There was a personal check in machine which can be used for Malaysians. The housekeeping team did very good job on keeping the room cleanliness and re-arranging the room on my 2nd night stay.

The hotel was located with just 2-3 minutes walkaway from Monorel Medan Tuanku station or around 10 minutes walk from Sultan Ismail LRT Ampang/Sri Petaling Line. The hotel is within the vicinity of Chow Kit area and some other offices/government agencies. It is not so hard to order e-hailing services from the hotel’s lobby. Around the hotel was offices and businesses which are closed on evenings and weekends so no crowd is expected during this timing.
