  1. The hotel is nice for 1 day stay. The lounge is really luxury and good smell, but room is pretty simple, but still clean. Some view has Patronas Towers from the window. Swimming pool is so much dirty you can’t swim there … yoga room is prohibited to use even you can’t take yoga pants for your self training … gym is very simple no mats, no equipments .. breakfast was very simple and there was a girl – a waiter who wasn’t attentive to guests, we can before 1 hour and almost food plates were empty and they didn’t fill it up without our requests..

  2. My recent stay at Steg Hotel KL offered a mixed bag of experiences. On the positive side, the hotel lobby is undeniably a highlight. Its modern and eye-catching design provided numerous opportunities for memorable photos. The convenience of having a Thai restaurant, a traditional eatery, and a 99 Speedmart mini-market right outside the hotel was also a major plus, offering diverse dining and shopping options.

The room itself was clean and well-maintained, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. These aspects contributed significantly to a pleasant stay.

Parking also a problem due to limited spot.

However, the breakfast buffet experience was disappointing. The staff struggled to replenish food items promptly, leading to frustrating waits when popular dishes ran out. Moreover, the dining area seemed insufficient to accommodate the number of guests during peak hours, resulting in difficulty finding a table.

In summary, Steg Hotel KL boasts a stylish lobby, convenient amenities, and comfortable rooms, but the breakfast buffet needs significant improvement to ensure a more enjoyable and efficient experience for all guests. If the breakfast issues are addressed, this hotel would be a much more recommendable option.

  3. Stay in STEG Hotel 2night and overall, it was a highly pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is exceptionally convenient, being close to local attractions. The staff were remarkably friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived.

The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable, featuring all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. The hotel’s facilities were well-maintained, with the standout feature being the uniquely designed red pool area, which offered a relaxing environment after a day of sightseeing.

Overall, my stay at STEG Hotel was very enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable hotel with a prime location and excellent service. I will certainly consider staying here again in the future.

  4. Breakfast has to be improved! Such a bummer to have a beautiful stay, but a mediocre breakfast.

Egg station: please give the chef some oil squeeze bottle, not a ladle to take the oil from the bucket.

Breakfast is how you start your day, esp. those who are travelling and choosing hotels based on breakfast availability. Please put some effort to start our morning right in foreign country.

Attention to detail for the room interior 5/5, great pillow&bed, not noisy at all, arrived late around 9pm but smooth check-in. Great view of the petronas tower at night from our room!

    Thanks STEG KL.

  5. We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and while there were some positives, the overall experience left much to be desired.

    Pros:

    – The lobby is beautifully designed with modern details.

    – The rooms are spacious and modern, though the bathroom could use some improvement.

    – The pool and gym are nice amenities.

    Cons:

    – The hotel’s location feels somewhat run-down and lacks the vibrancy of other areas.

    – The breakfast buffet was disappointing, with poor quality and limited options. The only highlight was the egg station outside, where the cook did a great job.

    – We encountered several rude guests who were careless with the buffet, touching food with their hands.

    – The staff at the buffet seemed uninterested in maintaining cleanliness. There was plenty of staff present, but no one addressed issues like the jam-covered toaster or the untidy buffet. I even saw a hotel employee scratching his butt under his underwear and then touching the buffet. Additionally, the tongs were often mixed up, causing contamination between different dishes.

    – The bathroom in our room wasn’t as clean as the rest of the room, which was disappointing given the overall standard of the hotel.

Given the mixed experience and the breakfast as a big deal breaker I wouldn’t recommend this Hotel. Especially not with breakfast included, I would personally completely avoid it.
