Very professional staff. Clearly the hotel has trained their personnel well. Special shout out to Ms. Farhana at the Front Desk. She’s a wonderful smiling, helpful person, a huge asset to the hotel. Also Vivien in the bar downstairs is great at what she does. Overall very very happy with my stay here.

My Valentine’s Day course dinner at the Light Hotel Penang was a truly delightful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the salmon was a particular standout – cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Compliments to the chef for the wonderful meal!

I also want to extend my sincere thanks to the Manager, Mr. Charles, for his excellent arrangements. Everything ran smoothly and the ambiance was perfect for the occasion. The service was top-notch as well. Although I unfortunately can’t recall their names, the two staff members who served our food were incredibly attentive and friendly. Their service was impeccable and really added to the enjoyment of the evening. Overall, it was a memorable Valentine’s Day dinner, and I highly recommend the Light Hotel Penang.

I had my wedding reception at The Light and safe to say, mine is the most beautiful event that I know of – thanks to The Light Hotel management & food. Our dinner spread was amazing that everyone kept praising even after days. The spacious and beautifully designed (interior) hall allowed us to minimally decorate it yet looked like a dreamy place to be. Everyone whom we bumped into, from the front desk staff to the GM, just everyone were very accommodating and polite. We had our guests staying in an approx 25 rooms for the event and all of them were so happy, especially with the breakfast spread and the accessibility of the hotel. Special mention to Mr Raj, GM who had been instrumental for us to pull off such a beautiful and well planned event. The management n staffs were very cooperative and collaborated well with our vendors. Our heart is so full, post event 😃

Words can’t describe how amazing this place is. From the minute you enter, you are greeted by the lovely gentlemen at the front with an amazing smile on their face. Then you check in at the lovely check in area together with a very refreshing welcome drink that is soooo amazing. Massive thanks and shoutout to Farhana and Pabithra for the amazing hospitality and service upon check-in. We have been here many times and all I can say is that this hotel is truly amazing. And the best part of this hotel would definitely be the amazing breakfast. Trust me, it is truly one of a kind. You have to witness it yourselves to believe it.
