Took the bus from Downtown George Town about 1 Hour from 2pm on and back in town around 6pm for dinner: Great spot out there with clean beaches and containers set up as stalls! Will be pretty busy during school holidays and weekends! Prefer to go during the week as quiet and calm and nice: Did not swim there!
It was lovely to be on the beach with a beautiful warm breeze, a great day out from central Penang. The sea was a perfect temperature for a swim, I did think it was strange that I was the only one swimming. Later on local people told me I should not have gone swimming there due to the pollution from local industries.
I love the sand here. Soft and fine. Having our best time, observe the sunset with sbux coffee and cake. Plenty of visitors. Fine your good spot. You may also take a dip.
The scenary is delightful, glorious with the blue sky and never ending sea view. God gracious.
– clean beach area
– plenty of restaurants offering seats by the beach side for chilling
– F&B pricing reasonable
– the crowd starts nearer to sunset period
Nice beach but I give 2 stars because of the petrol smell😩 (what petrol do they use??) of jet skis and motor boats. It ruins the atmosphere literally!!
