Excellent viewpoints of multiple angles of Penang Island. Could do with a little more signage, but overall a relaxing meditative and short hiking trail with an outdoor badminton court and several rest stops along the way.

Bring insect repellant. Plenty of shade so not to hot though.

  3. View is incredible, you need to walk through the construction site and take a left. There is a sign but you can ask locals to help. However there are aggressive dogs who barked at us on the way up and chased us as we came back down to the construction site. It was really scary.

  4. Quite an easy hike, can reach the peak within 30 minutes and you will be rewarded with nice sceneries from ~3 viewing spots.

Bukit Hijau (directly translated as Green Hill) is also known as Fish Head Hill as you will pass by a big rock that shaped like a fish head from certain angle. 5. Great place to hike, stunning view. Located inside island glades near SMJK Chung Hwa. Not too difficult to hike for me (amateur hiker). After 20 to 30 min hike without resting, finally reached the top with 2 stunning view of Penang. Got outdoor badminton court with net for people to play badminton. Suprisingly not much wind so it is still playable.

There is also a small resting area at the top for people to sit down and relax with their food and beverages.
