The entrance is next to the temple, it’s actually where the local lives so we need to be quiet 🤫. There is only one spots for photo taking so there isn’t much to do. It’s beautiful on a sunny day BUT IT IS SOOOO HOT🥵.
Lee Jetty has a nice temple at the entrance & has houses on either side of its pathway. It is very nice during the daytime & beautifully lit up during the night. It offers nice views of the sea & a nearby temple along the coast.
Good to be respectful & quiet here.
I visited at 9am+ on a Sunday morning after having breakfast nearby. There were only another pair of traveller there. I suggest to visit this place when the weather is good as the place looks so beautiful. A very good photo spot with the calm water and blue sky.
In a short walk, you can reach the end and see the sea view, which I believe is one of the must-visit spots in Penang.
The lack of commercial activities here, this place offers the best sense of tranquility.
The Lee Jetty in Penang is one of the six clan jetties that make up the Chew Jetty Heritage Area in George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These clan jetties are traditional Chinese waterfront settlements built on stilts over the sea, forming unique water villages.
P.S If really have no where to visit, can drop by..but please don’t expect too much, it’s a local residential area…
