Penang Hill mentioned that if you haven’t been to Penang Hill you haven’t been to Penang a must go place. The top is cold and breezy. Penang itself is hot already with the cold air on top of the upper station an enjoyable weather and walk. Hours and Kilometers of walk to enjoy the greenery and lots of heritage Homestay along the way. There is a buggy for those who don’t like walking would cost 30 rm to go. But 15 to return to the main area
Slightly further walk from the upper station though some visitors chose to take the buggy ride. More foliage compared to the main view point but still equally nice view.
Concurred that this is the best viewpoint of them all – in terms of reachability (only a ten or so minute walk from the station), crowds (less people tend to come out this far unless they’re taking a paid shuttle) and price (free unlike the other viewpoints that you need to pay for).
Truly a great spot for a photo and not too far from the station terminal.
This is our favourite spot in Penang Hill to have our breakfast (with a view), either tapao near Georgetown or prepare it at home. We usually came early just to have the spot to ourselves most of the time.
