Every year the 6th days of Chinese New Year is the celebration of 清水祖师爷华诞. The Snake Temple committee members have been arranged and prepared the decorations and performances from local as well as from China
Traditional Performance team. There are many stalls setup in the surrounding of Snake Temple. It is strongly recommend come to offer praying and watch the performances.
Free entrance situated beside OO white coffee cafe. Parking infront public holiday charged RM2.
All snakes 🐍 🐍 🐍 are either caged or else ontop of tree.

For reptile lovers, this is good news. A tourist attraction that adore by foreigners and locals.. An opportunity to carry live snakes is very popular. It is also the best place to collect your fridge magnet 🧲… Locals here will always make you feel welcome..
No tickets required to visit this temple… But if you drive, you will have to pay for parking outside the temple. Plenty of space to park unless there was a festival going on or during lunch hour on a work day.
This temple is over 2 centuries old. It is a frequent stop by many locals especially during Chinese New Year as the ‘birthday’ of the Deity of this temple (清水祖师) fell on the 6th day of the first lunar month (正月初六). Many will come to pray for blessings & divine protections.

There are stalls selling souvenirs, trinkets, clothing & snacks / drinks outside the temple.
Area is not very big, walk around 15-30 minute visit there and pray. Need to pay 50 sen per person for toilet.
