I love all the jetties as each walk seems to have a calming effect on me. The further to the edge the better. Spend some time enjoying the scenery and take beautiful and memorable photos. Just be careful when walking out to the sea.
Tan Jetty is raw, rustic & has its own allure. Great place to capture beautiful shots. I really enjoyed walking all the way on the wooden pathway.
Do park at another lane but do not park outside the Thai restaurant as it’s only for dining in customers. It’s just a very simple jetty with no railings towards the end but you will feel as if u r part of the sea.
Quite an enjoyable experience and I recommend Tan Jetty over the other jetties due to crowd, noise n commercialisation.
I was going here during before christmas eve and it was soooo crowded. Firstly I went to tan jetty but even more crowded. It is more to view and good spot for taking picture despite the crowd. You can find a souvenirshop at the entrance. Good yo see sunset
Came here at night, and it was so peaceful—everyone was in their houses, and you could smell the ocean while walking on the jetty.
The view from the jetty was epic, but I missed the evening vibe.
If you’re near George Town, definitely visit during sunset at Golden Hour for some amazing photos.
There’s also a huge food court right opposite the entrance—perfect for a bite after soaking in the views.
