The observation and seating area on the top floor is a really nice place to chill with a drink and snack. Stunning views all the way round. We expected it to be busy when we visited on a Saturday morning, but there were less than 10 people and accordingly found it easy to get comfortable premium viewing seats.
Plenty of waxworks and the worlds tallest ever man exhibits around the lower floors.
I felt a bit underwhelmed by the various attractions here. While there is a wide variety, none of them stand out as particularly spectacular or worth visiting individually. Within the same building, there are facilities for young kids, such as bumper cars, an aquarium, a dinosaur “museum,” an indoor playground, slides, and more. For adults, the main highlight is likely the “TOP” of the building, where you can try walking around the perimeter on a ledge or visit a small “glass arch” balcony – that’s about it, unless you like dining up there too. Personally, I found the glass balcony less intimidating than the glass-floor section one level below.
One major downside is the ticketing options. Unless you plan to stay and experience all the attractions, the package deals and ticketing options feel restrictive. For instance, the ticket just for visiting the TOP isn’t much cheaper than the combined ticket that includes many other attractions. However, even the package tickets don’t include bumper car rides, which require a separate ticket. This setup gives the impression that short-term visitors are expected to focus on the TOP and bumper cars, which purchased separately will cost nearly as much as the combined tickets for everything else—activities that require more time to complete.
Another disappointment is the operating hours. Be sure to visit well before 6 PM, as most attractions, close after that time, leaving only the TOP open. This was frustrating for us, as we visited three times, twice in the early and late evenings, only to find very little activity.
Went for the skywalk with our 7 year old. Took some photos from the transparent glass overlooking the city from 68th floor.
Then we went to aquarium display with a shipwreck and baba nyonya theme decorations. We missed the feeding sessions but still a nice experience.
Also covered the dinosaur display which was fun for the kid. Followed by lunch time.
Spent about half a day there and enjoyed the Attractions.
Well, if you had a kids under 10 years old, they gonna enjoy the experience. But for adults, it’s not that much to be honest, I mean nothing wow to see. The dinosaur bark area is okay not that much and it’s small area, I expected it will be the large bark and we’re gonna walk around the dinosaurs. The aqua park is absolutely disappointing. Rainbow Skywalk, Observatory Deck and Sky Bridge all small area and nothing wow. Overall, as I said, if your kids are under 10 years old, they’re gonna enjoy the experience but for adults it’s not that much small area regular places nothing worth the visit.
🌈The Top Penang offers an incredible experience with its Rainbow Sky Walk, featuring breathtaking panoramic views of Penang and the Andaman Sea.The transparent glass floor creates a thrilling sensation, while vibrant rainbow patterns beneath your feet enhance the visual delight. Safety is prioritized, allowing you to enjoy the thrill worry-free.Informative displays provide insights into Penang’s culture and history, making it both fun and educational.Don’t forget your camera—the views are perfect for photos! 🌟A must-visit for anyone in the area, combining adventure, beauty, and learning.
