  1. I visited this restaurant for dinner on Christmas Eve, hoping for a festive Christmas-themed party and to celebrate a birthday. While the view was phenomenal, the atmosphere and ambiance were below par. There was no Christmas vibe, and the experience felt dull overall—I had expected a lot more.

The buffet offered a wide spread of food, but the taste was average, and unfortunately, we didn’t feel great afterward. However, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were polite, attentive, and very customer-focused. A highlight of the evening was the surprise birthday cake celebration arranged by the staff, which we truly appreciated. Thank you to the team for their thoughtful service!

  2. Once upon a time, between the 1960s to 1990s, Three Sixty Revolving Restaurant at the top of City Bayview Hotel was the preeminent dining venue to impress.

Unfortunately over the years, it has declined and the hotel no longer operates the revolving restaurant. It is leased out and our recommendation is to there for the view and take the drink package, 3 pints of Sapporo for RM110. Was not impressed with buffet though.

Go for the view and take a drink 🥃 to savour the view of UNESCO world heritage site, Georgetown.

  3. Fantastic service and food! Amazing buffet spread. Thank you for all the evening staff on Monday 7 October and to service crew Shah and his team for the wonderful service and for making special effort to celebrate my mom and sister’s birthday 🙂

  4. I came for the view and the revolving restaurant (which started turning at 6.55 pm) and that’s really all we got.

The buffet spread had a fairly decent spread but suffered greatly in quality. Except for the lamb kurma and perhaps the roti jala/ nonya chicken curry, most of the other items were either below average or quite inedible e.g. fried chicken and prawns were so over-fried that they were hard. A good chef should not allow overcooked items to be served. The beef rendang tasted OK but the beef was tough. Fish cuka was too fishy and the assam laksa, prawn mee lacked flavour. I got much better tasting laksa and prawn mee from local coffee shops.
Dessert spread was quite pathetic as was the salad bar.

Service really rendered by manager Ferdous was excellent. The rest of the crew need to learn to smile like him.

Except for the view, don’t expect too much from the dining area experience here, I’m afraid
